Expeditions - some expedition events, when completed successfully, can reward the player with specific goods.Diving - goods such as pearls or gold can be occasionally retrieved from the ocean using a salvager.Quests - sometimes goods can be a reward from quests.Import via Docklands - importing goods in exchange for exporting some other goods.Trade - spending coins to buy goods from other characters or players.Production - dedicating some space, workforce and coins to produce goods, sometimes less complex goods are required to create more complex ones. In general, goods can be acquired using the following methods and sources: Each good might have its own options, presented on their individual pages. Goods can be obtained in multiple ways, every good can be produced but some goods can also be obtained in other ways. Ships possess cargo slots, each storing up to 50 tons of one good. Goods can be easily transferred between an island's storage and a ship's cargo and transported between islands by ships, either manually or via trade routes. When a building produces a good, to add it to island's storage it has to be transported by a cart and unloaded at a warehouse. It can be transported by one of the building's carts from a warehouse or it has to be delivered by a different building that produces it. When such buildings require a good, that good has to be physically delivered. Non-residential buildings that produce or consume goods (like production buildings) have their own internal storage for a specific number of tons of every relevant good. When residences consume the goods, their amount continuously decreases at a rate determined by current sum of the consumption rates of all the residences. Residences have immediate access to all goods that they need, those goods do not have to be transported within the island in any way. As long as at least one ton of a good is within an island's storage, it is available for all warehouses and all residences across the island.
